So I've been thinking about the people that inspire me tonight. When I left school(secondary/high school - whatever you call it) I thought I wanted to study photography but didn't straight away. Eventually I changed subjects and took Photography. Although I had been to exhibitions before it wasn't until I went to the Diane Arbus Exhibition that I fully engaged in photography and realised I wanted to do something with it.
So here are a few Diane Arbus images (they have been taken off the internet because my beast of a book is back at home so the quality won't be great).

Another photographer who I adore is Susan Paulsen, I only discovered her in October last year when I worked at one of galleries in New York. I love her work, she explores places she has a connection to, through living there, memories etc. Whereas some photographers attempt to explore these areas and fail, I think she succeeds with a sort of sensitivity towards the subject matter with the finished images. Something which is kind of key to this kind of photography. My last few projects have also been focusing on areas that I think I have a strong connection too (but I don't know how well I'm achieving this at the moment or if I am) so this is probably the reason I enjoy her work so much.
Any wayway, here a few favourite images (deciding on a few has been a little difficult).
The last one just makes me want to be at home taking my dog on a crazy long walk. Hmm.
