Progress... yeah right...

Someone told me that they wanted to see more of my work on here, so as the asked so nicely.... (questionable)... I will post some.

The blur/camera shake is intentional.

I am exploring the ideas of personal encounters within environments which can be regarded as areas of alienation. All the places I have photographed are significant to my life in some way. One of things that has been mentioned about my images is they create a feeling of nostalgia and whether this is a good or bad thing. For what I am trying to achieve (the idea it could be anywhere and the play on the senses), I personally don't think it is a problem. I guess in some ways I creating a feeling of longing and loss, because I want these places/environments/encounters in my life but they aren't always accessible all the time.

I have also been interested in the way light affects environments, and the way it can become more than just something that is there. The use of light has always played a part in my photography. The light illuminates beyond the physicality of the scene, the light transcends beyond the object, the light becomes something in itself.

Confused.... God knows I am.
